The membership for the writer who loves to collaborate

Working Title is a year-long writing mentorship and community where you'll finally learn to trust that you are, in fact, the right person to tell the story that's been on your mind this whole time. Even if something has already been done… it hasn’t been done by you. Your unique perspective, life experience, and creative genius is the secret sauce. The only thing that’s required is that YOU have a desire to be a writer. And if you desire to be a writer, it means you already are one. You just haven’t started practicing yet. There are oodles of opportunities for writing practice built right into Working Title. The deets are exciting but what’s more exciting is that you don’t even need the deets to know this is for you.

Because it’s for you if you have a book that you’re afraid to write because you’re too this or too that -- too white or too brown or too neurodivergent or too conventional or to eccentric or too man or too queer or too feminine or too uneducated or too educated.

Because guess what? That “too much” ness is exactly what makes you the ONE PERSON who can write your book. YOUR book. Most of us are working on novels. But there is space for every genre here and you're welcome to apply regardless of genre, experience, or even if your idea is fully formed or not.

RETREAT INCLUDED!

"Before, I had a tendency of holding myself to standards that are too high for anyone, let alone someone with a life as complex as mine."

"I literally can't imagine my life without this membership. Creativity used to be the first thing to go when shit hit the fan, but now it's the first place I turn to center myself."

"It's taken so much guilt out of creating because I understand it's a vital part of me that needs to be nurtured."

I am not the same person I was at this time last year. I am so grateful I joined this Writing Incubator in December. It opened up a part of me that was dead for so long and I feel excited again with this new, healthy, creative outlet. It's been 6 months and my seed has sprouted. I feel something screaming to be born into words on a page. I know I am on the right path -- it's what I was meant to do. It's for ME.

Project: Personal Memoir, with a pivot to fiction

I was proceeding on schedule until life and trauma got in the way. I didn't quit, but moved back to step one with the habit building of just putting words on a page. I knew I could break it up into smaller more manageable goals to approach my writing goal from a different direction.

Apply now

It'll take just a few minutes to give me a few details about you and your book. Then your application goes through the internet tubes, and within two business days I'll reach out to schedule a call, and we'll go over any questions and check the vibe. If it's a mutual hell yeah, we'll get this party started!

Investment

I've been where you are, wondering if I actually deserve to invest money into something as frivolous as my creative dreams. I wouldn't have done it ten years ago, or even five. Well, maybe five. I did a lot of big scary things five years ago, so joining a program to help me write a book might have felt pretty okay. Easier than a divorce, that's for sure.

Honest question: What's it worth to stop second guessing your writing for the rest of your life? What's it worth to be able to say "I'm a writer" without giggling and turning red? Priced individually, the program components are valued at over $23,000 (if for some reason you wanted to buy things separately).

You pay only $4200 for this year of support. Payment plan is also available!
If you're sitting here like "Oh god, I really want this, but..." then let's talk about it. I will not push you into a sale. I want to know we're a good fit as much as you do. On your application, just hit the option that says "I want to talk to Caitlin before I make a final decision."
